CookieRun: Braverse TCG is a fast-paced trading card game from Devsisters that brings the beloved Cookie characters into an offline, 1v1 strategy experience. Players battle using colorful cards, clever tactics, and themed decks to outsmart their opponent.
First launched in South Korea in September 2023, Braverse has since expanded internationally, complete with organized play events, tournaments, and appearances at major gaming conventions.
CookieRun: Braverse TCG: Five Starter Decks
Braverse kicks off with five color-coded starter decks—Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple. Each deck comes with:
60 cards
1 promotional card
A playmat
A rules pamphlet
Every color offers a unique playstyle:
Red Deck – Aggressive and fast, featuring hard-hitting cards like Strawberry Crepe Cookie. Ideal for applying constant pressure.
Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple Decks – Each focuses on a different strategy, such as manipulating the Break Area, controlling the board, or building defensive setups.
Inside each deck, you’ll find:
Cookie Cards – Your main fighters.
Item Cards – Boost abilities or give advantages.
Trap Cards – Surprise your opponent with reactions.
Stage Cards – Add special conditions to the battlefield.
While starter decks are balanced for beginners, they can be customized. By swapping out weaker cards (like Gingerbrite) for more powerful options from expansions, you can fine-tune your strategy and improve your chances in competitive play.

CookieRun: Braverse TCG: Brave Beginning Booster Set
The first big expansion, Brave Beginning, introduces 159 regular cards and 44 hidden cards. A booster display box has 28 packs, with each pack containing 9 cards.
This set adds:
Blocker effect – Create stronger defensive plays.
Enhanced FLIP mechanics – More tactical card reveals.
Buffed Level 2+ Cookies – Making them more impactful than in the starter decks.
With Brave Beginning, players can fill power gaps in their decks and experiment with new strategies. Rare and hidden cards can completely change how your deck plays, giving you more flexibility whether you’re competing or playing casually.

CookieRun: Braverse TCG: How to Play
A 60-card deck is built from Cookie, Item, Trap, and Stage cards. You can win in three ways:
The total level of Cookies in your opponent’s Break Area reaches 10 or more.
Your opponent has no Cookies left in their Battle Area and hand.
Your opponent can’t move a Cookie from their Trash to their Break Area during the refresh phase.
Turn Structure:
Active Phase – Stand all rested cards.
Draw Phase – Draw a card.
Main Phase – Play up to 2 Cookies, place Stage cards, activate Items/Traps, and attack.
End Phase – Finish your actions.
Pass the turn.
Battles are the heart of the game:
Attack by resting your active Cookie and paying its cost from the Support Area.
The opponent may respond with Trap cards.
Damaged Cookies flip cards from their HP pool. If they run out, they’re knocked out and moved to the Break Area.
When a Cookie is defeated, the owner can immediately replace it with a new Cookie from their hand—potentially triggering powerful “on reveal” abilities.
Braverse rewards strategic thinking—whether you’re rushing down with an aggressive deck or slowly building a strong defense, knowing when to attack, defend, or play key cards will decide the match.
